Do I need to arrive early if I have booked Special Assistance?

Yes. If you have booked Special Assistance, we recommend arriving at the airport in plenty of time to ensure we can support you throughout your journey.


Most airlines ask passengers to check in at least 2 hours before departure, although this may vary depending on your airline and destination. Please check your airline's guidance before you travel.


After checking in, please make your way to the Special Assistance desk, located opposite Starbucks. Our team will then assist you through the airport and to your departure gate.


If you require assistance from the moment you arrive at the airport, please:

  • Visit the Special Assistance desk on arrival, or
  • Use one of the dedicated assistance call points located in the car parks.


To help us provide the best possible service, we ask that passengers who have booked Special Assistance arrive at the Special Assistance desk at least 1 hour before their flight's scheduled departure time.

 

If you arrive at the Special Assistance desk less than 1 hour before departure, we may not be able to guarantee that assistance can be provided in time for your flight. In some circumstances, this could result in you missing your flight.
