I have lost something at the Airport, what should I do?

For property left in and around the Airport terminal including car parks and onboard the aircraft, please submit an enquiry to our Lost Property department using the 'Submit an enquiry' form in this Help Centre.

Messages are responded to Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Please allow two working days for a response.

A £10 administration charge will be made to collect any found items. Collection times are between 9:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00 Monday to Friday. Property will be held for three months, any property not claimed in this time will be disposed of securely.

Should you wish to have your lost property posted to you, a £20 administration charge will apply plus postage. Payment will be required before dispatch. Please note that if you wish your item to be posted overseas, you will need to arrange your own courier and we will apply a £10 packaging charge.

Lost a Passport?  Passports found at the Airport are returned directly to HM Passport Office to protect the identity of the owner. No records are kept of lost passports at Newcastle Airport.

If your UK passport is lost or stolen you must report it. Please go to www.gov.uk/report-a-lost-or-stolen-passport for further advice.

Lost your baggage? The Airport is not responsible for lost baggage that has gone missing after check-in. Please see the Lost Baggage page of our website.
